we are leading our division as of now, looking pretty good overall, what's your thoughts on the Phils recently?

A strong showing against the Mets and the Reds have helped us in the standings, sure, but it has also helped the guys get some confidence and momentum back. Look at Rollins for example, he is hitting better and playing better. His hitting streak is now 6 games? Before these last 2 series it was zero.

All I was hoping for out of this homestand was to go 7-3.

Let's face it, based on our previous performance at home, even 7-3 looked like it was going to be a tough deal to pull off.

Yet, here we sit, 6-1, with the miserable Pirates in for the weekend. And as much as it would suck to lose a home series to that team, I would still take my 7-3 and be happy going into the All Star Break.

One more win, Phils. That's all I want. (But I'll take all I can get

How about the in the park home run for Chase Utley?

Chase Utley is just THE MAN.

What a pro. Just a consummate professional, all the way. A lot of guys would be lollygagging on the way to second, admiring their work and looking to see if it went out. Not Chase. Hustle. All the way.

And it certainly seemed like that sparked the team. After YET ANOTHER FREAKING BASES LOADED, 1 OUT opportunity got WASTED in the first. And the Reds jumping on the board. The outlook ain't so grand, and then Chaser just goes out there and plays baseball like only he seems to be able to do sometimes.

Of course, the Reds DID look like the Bad News Bears on that play. That always helps

It was pretty awesome for sure. Being there it looked like he had like cartoon wheels under him, he was really moving. Ang thought he was going to fall....hhaa
