Maclin and Jackson, Marriage Made in Heaven or
This could be one of the most prolific receiving combinations in NFL history. It could also be caustic and problematic. I think the upside is self evident especially after the way Maclin finished the season. He seemed to get better when Jackson tailed off (could be that #10 was double teamed).
But there are risks. Can the Eagles afford both? Some have suggested one of the reasons #10 wants a new contract now is b/c the Eagles might not be willing to pay as much after they see Maclin improve over another year. Can one of them (mostly likely Maclin) accept the role of Boy Wonder as opposed to the Caped Crusader (#10)?
Good worries to have, but still worries.
BTW, this whole issue is a moot point if the o-line does not become stable as well as the D getting all their holes filled (DE, S, and LB).
