Name on the jerseys of Penn State Football Players

Why does Penn State not put the names of its players on the back of the jerseys of the football players?

I watched the game briefly and thought the exact same thing. I think I saw a name on a guy named Rogers who I believe was on Penn State, but no other players.

It goes back to the old days when JoPa was first coaching. Joe teaches it is about the team and not just 1 player.
